Steve Duckett has come up with a genuine innovation in fly patterns which should hold up to the test of time and become a mainstay in 21st Century fly tying.

His introduction to this technique is named BEAD-BELLY BOUNCERS.

He has also submitted a number of recipes and we will begin by posting the instructions for the eggsucking leech and wooly bugger. These are aptly named Eggsucker Bouncer and Woolybugger Bouncer.

Most will agree you'll want to tie up this Bouncer Bugger Fly Pattern for sure in a number of configurations.

A companion write up is presented by our Editor, Brad Hanson, discussing the multiple reasons for using the CLAYMORE egg pattern listed below.

This article is named Cooking Up Salmon Eggs For Hungry Trout.

With Spring right around the corner and the rivers and streams beginning to open up, its time to post another fly pattern everyone should load up on. Its a proven killer and there really isn't any "tying" skills involved.

This pattern is appropriately named the CLAYMORE because of its "explosive" results when fished especially in the fall behind spawning salmon.
