Shane Hertzog is no stranger to the waters of the outlet of Skilak Lake on the Kenai River. Along with his dad Tom they tally a hefty number of genuine trophy-sized rainbows each fall and spring. This is one taken recently (early September '05) on a 5wt flyrod will push 16 pounds and push the limits of light tackle.
